What Is Social Program?

ICAN’s Social Program offers weekday, weekend, and occasional overnight events where clients can build friendships, explore their community, and have fun. Once the intake process is complete, clients may register for events through our website. The program is funded through Regional Center, with self-determination and private pay options available. Some events may have an additional cost for admissions or food.

How to Enroll

1.

Reach out to your service coordinator for a referral packet.

Schedule an interview with our Social Program team

Once you have been accepted, complete Enrollment Paperwork and Client Onboarding.

4.

Request event funding from your Regional Center (POS must be received 2 weeks before first event)

5.

You're now ready to register for Social Program Events!

Funding and Intake Information

ICAN Social Rec or “Day Events” is the activity per quarter. This activity is an hourly service. Clients will be authorized by Regional Center for a set amount of hours based on their needs and goals per quarter. Clients will schedule these hours with ICAN by registering for events. Clients must complete the intake process prior to registering for events. Determining funding with Regional center does not guarantee a spot to the events of your choice. You must be signed up through ICAN to secure your spot.
