We had a blast visiting dinosaurs from around the world at the South Coast Botanic Garden ( @scbgarden ) this week 🦖🌿 It was awesome tracking down all 13 life-size animatronic dinosaurs and watching them come to life. If you haven’t checked it out yet, you need to 👀✨
Our Social Program continues to grow, and with that growth, so does our team. We’re thrilled to welcome Nicki and Spencer, two new staff members who bring creativity, care, and energy to every event and interaction.
From supporting clients during clubs and outings to helping bring our larger events to life, they’ve already made a big impact. We’re so excited to have them on board and can’t wait to see how they continue to help our community thrive. 💙
We’re officially kicking off our end of year fundraiser, Brewing Dreams With ICAN Coffee. Our Coffee Trailer is built and with your help we can launch it in 2026 and create meaningful job opportunities for adults with disabilities.
ICAN Coffee gives our clients the chance to learn real job skills, build confidence, and connect with the community in powerful ways. Now we’re raising $50,000 to get the trailer rolling with a tow vehicle, job coaching, and all the supplies needed for launch.

🎉 Big shoutout to Kurt, who was recently hired at Pop Mart in the Los Cerritos Mall. From keeping the shop in top shape to creating great connections with customers, Kurt has truly embraced his role and is thriving.
His hard work, positive attitude, and dedication are shining bright in this new opportunity and we could not be more proud.

Our clients had the best day exploring the beautiful Amor Eterno exhibit at Pico House and celebrating the @Dodgers big World Series win. Art, community, and a whole lot of team spirit. Days like these remind us why outings matter.

Huge shoutout to Coach Carolina. She has been absolutely crushing it in Cooking Club. Her energy, creativity, and willingness to grow perfectly reflect what ICAN is all about.
She’s even bridging the gap between programs by bringing what she learns in AM Cooking Basics to our PM Program and leading the team in creating amazing dishes. We love seeing her grow, lead, and inspire through food and connection.
