Join us for two FREE Social Recreation workshops for individuals with disabilities, families, and caregivers.
Workshop 1: Camp 101: Understanding Camps & Funding
Thursday, April 30, 2026 from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM at Able ARTS Work in Long Beach
Learn about camp opportunities for adults, funding options, and real examples from ICAN Camps. Dinner will be provided. Translation available upon request.
Workshop 2: Person Centered Planning for Social Recreation Services
Thursday, May 21, 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at Harbor Regional Center Long Beach.
Learn more about Social Recreation Services, meaningful activities, and funding and access. Light refreshments will be provided. Translation available upon request.

Galen walked through our doors recently, not as a client, but as a working man bearing pizza. 🍕
He was part of our Day Program and TDS, where he sought the support he needed to prepare himself for the workforce. Now he`s thriving at UPS, and he came back just to say thank you with pizza he bought from his very own paycheck.
Keep scrolling and you`ll see that group photo grew, and grew, and grew. Everyone wanted in, because everyone loves Galen.
