Huge shoutout to Coach Carolina. She has been absolutely crushing it in Cooking Club. Her energy, creativity, and willingness to grow perfectly reflect what ICAN is all about.
She’s even bridging the gap between programs by bringing what she learns in AM Cooking Basics to our PM Program and leading the team in creating amazing dishes. We love seeing her grow, lead, and inspire through food and connection.

📝 We are so proud to celebrate Eden, who recently had an article published in the Alzheimer`s Association online journal, sharing her personal experience with a loved one living with dementia. You can read her powerful piece here:

Since 2022, Eden has also served as one of only seven or eight co-researchers with Down syndrome nationwide on a community based research team through the School of Public Health at Boston University, helping shape studies that explore health issues affecting people with Down syndrome.
At ICAN, Eden continues to work toward her goals of building communication skills, managing stress, and improving focus. This accomplishment is just one example of her voice, strength, and growth shining through.

🕵️♂️ Something mysterious hit the stage last week and it was incredible. Our Long Beach Partial Work clients wrapped up their Mystery Writing and Acting Club with an epic performance at their Halloween party, filled with suspense, creativity, and a whole lot of talent.
If you are thinking, "Wow, how awesome is it that a club like this exists at ICAN?" You are absolutely right. One of the things we are most proud of in our day programs is that our clubs are truly client-driven. If a client finds two or more friends interested in a topic, we will design a club around it, even one filled with twists and drama.
