Five years in, and you all keep showing up in the most incredible ways. 🌸
At this year’s Garden Party, we are so proud to share that together, we raised $107,000 through ticket sales, the silent auction, event sponsorships, the ICAN Shop, donations, and more. That kind of support means the world to everyone here at ICAN.
Watch the recap video above to relive some of the magic from this year’s celebration. Thank you for being part of it.

Showing up for the communities that show up for us. 🌿 Clients from our Long Beach and Torrance locations hit the parks and beaches for community cleanups, because caring for the people around you is something you do, not just something you talk about. This is what it looks like when our community takes care of its community.
The scoreboard kept score. Our players kept community. 🏀
When the ICAN Social Program Sports League brought South Bay and Long Beach together for an exhibit game recently, something special happened on the court. Sure, there were shots made and points scored, but what stood out most was the encouragement. Players cheering for each other, celebrating big moments, no matter which side of the court they came from.
That`s the spirit we`re building here, and we can`t wait to see where it goes.
Happy Father’s Day to all the dads, stepdads, grandpas, and father figures in the ICAN community! 🎉👨👧👦
A few of our ICAN LB crew came prepared with some dad jokes to prove it. 🙈 Enjoy and drop your favorite dad joke in the comments below!
This week, members of our Diversity & Inclusion Club visited the California African American Museum to explore the Willie Birch and Langston Hughes exhibits, among others.
On Juneteenth, we`re reminded that art, story, and community are some of the most powerful ways to honor freedom and keep it alive.

Think you know Scott Elliott? 👀
Today is our Executive Director’s birthday, and we figured there’s no better way to celebrate than by letting the people who know him best do the talking. Watch to see how well YOU know the man behind ICAN.
Happy Birthday, Scott! 🎂💙

We were honored to welcome some incredible supporters to the 5th Annual ICAN Garden Party! 🌿
A heartfelt thank you to Torrance Mayor George Chen @georgekchen, Assembly Member Al Muratsuchi @asmmuratsuchi (AD-66), Mayor-elect Sharon Kalani @sharonkalaniformayor, Council Member Bridgett Lewis, WRC Executive Director Jane Borochoff, and representatives from @harborregionalcenter for joining us.
Your presence means the world to our community. When our city leaders and regional center partners show up for ICAN, they show up for every adult we serve. We are grateful beyond words. 💙
The ICAN Flower Wall never misses. 🌸
Every year, it`s one of the first things people make a beeline for, and this year was no different. Stunning blooms, perfect lighting, and plenty of smiles to go around. Honestly, it speaks for itself.
If you snapped a photo in front of the wall and posted it, tag us @icanla! We would love to see it. 🌷
Couldn`t join us this year but still want to be part of the mission? Donations are open at ICAN.org/donate, via the link in our bio. 💙
