Through Traffic Safety Club, he`s grown more aware of his surroundings and made real strides in recognizing safe and unsafe situations while waiting for his ride.
The progress is his, and we couldn`t be more proud. 🎉
Meet Adriel. 🌟
When Adriel set a goal in 2025 to pursue volunteer opportunities and step into a leadership role, he showed up every single day ready to grow. Through ICAN’s partnership with @asenseofhomeorg , he became a reliable, dedicated volunteer, helping families transition into stable housing, and his consistency spoke for itself.
It wasn’t long before Adriel’s initiative set him apart. He was personally invited to Volunteer Appreciation Night to accept an award on behalf of the program, and he delivered his very first public speech to a room full of people.
That moment belonged entirely to him.
Adriel’s journey is exactly the kind of story we’ll be celebrating at our 5th Annual Garden Party on June 13. An afternoon honoring a year of growth, and raising support for everything still ahead.

Meet Madison W. 🐾
When Madison joined our Partial Work Program, she came in knowing exactly what she wanted: greater independence and a career working with animals. What followed was a journey of growth she built step by step, developing her confidence, stepping into leadership, and making real moves toward the future she envisioned.
Today, Madison is enrolled at California Healing Arts College, training to become a veterinary technician. She showed up for herself every single day, and it shows.
Stories like Madison’s are exactly why we’re so excited for our 5th Annual Garden Party on June 13. It’s an afternoon that celebrates the growth of our clients, our programs, and the opportunities still ahead, and every ticket helps make more of those stories possible.
